Favorite or Different IU Memorabilia/Items That You Own

Let's have some fun and talk about some IU things that we collect, cherish, favorite items, etc.  I know we all have them, so let's talk about what all we have.

 

I have nothing autographed, but have countless IU apparel, memorabilia, collectibles, and so forth.  For some reason, I love to collect IU hats, and have stopped for the time being.  I probably have 25 to 30 IU hats that I refuse to wear, because I enjoy collecting them.  I have a quite a few IU shirts (Natty and I had some fun buying a lot while we were there for the IU - Navy game), but I am lacking the one iconic IU piece of clothing, which are the.... Candystripe pants. 

 

Some of my favorite IU memorabilia are gifts my wife gave me:  Indiana Hoosier Sprite Bottle and picture of Bobby Knight throwing the chair with the caption "Hoosier Tough."  It's stuff that anyone can buy, but I really like them.  You can never go wrong with countless IU stuff. 

 

Other items that I have that are IU logo: two clocks, school supplies, jackets, key chains, decals, sandals, socks, shower curtain, rugs, old man gnome, coat wrack my grandfather made for me, basketballs, an old golf bag, golf balls and tees, cups, napkins, plates, and a lot more stuff but can't name off the top of my head.  Don't judge, I just love collecting IU stuff :).  I've already told the wife I get one room to decorate in our new home, and that's my mancave.  Will be covered in Indiana Hoosier stuff (with some St. Louis Cardinals and hunting/fishing stuff of course lol).

although i only have a few, i am currently going to collect every years IU head poster. Ive got a few other things such as an IU rug (it really ties the room together), a ton of iu shortsleeve shirts, iu basketball jersey, A huge panorama shot of assembly hall when iu was playing UNC last year, christmas ornaments , and so many other things im forgetting lol!

 

If i had to pick something that would be really neat to have, would be the candy striped paints, or a nice big autographed picture of bobby knight.

Well for my birthday last year (while I was in Bloomington for the Michigan game) my wife got the Candy Stripe pants... they are by far my favorite. I also have a #2 Jersey (anybody guess who??? That would be AJ Moye)... Those 2 things are worn for EVERY GAME regardless of where I am.

I got a basketball autographed by the General, some flags, shot glasses, gnome, Oh yea and my IU Santa Hat... I guess it is time to pull that back out

Right now my favorite piece of memorabilia is an autographed basketball by Steve Alford that I got when I was a kid at his basketball camp when he first started playin for the Dallas Mavs, I bought my son his candy stripes today for Christmas, he better feel special cause I haven't even bought MY candy stripes yet lmao

I don't really have any IU memorabilia but I have a collectors edition football signed by Peyton Manning.

I made a set of magnets, for my beer fridge, of the banners.(pretty cool) I have an IU basketball tattoo & definitely have the candy striped pants.

I went to Dayton for the tournament last year and picked up a program. Then went to the Indy Sweet 16/Elite 8 and got one there. Had a friend go to the Final Four and they grabbed me one there so I have a program for each round of last year's tournament with one containing IU. Have a Bob Knight signed poster. Two banners with all of the national championship years on them. Anthony Thompson signed football. Bracey Wright (Vic) #4 jersey. And the Candies of course.
