Nate Sudfeld leaving IU?

I posted this in a different thread, but I thought it was worthy of its own thread. 

 

http://instagram.com/p/hM3sBQvT6L/# is a pic from Coffman's Instagram account.  It implies that either Nate or Cam will be transferring as the caption states, "gonna miss this character".  In the comments it appears that Kofi Hughes says, " I wana disown nate so bad"...which leads me to believe it will be Nate.

 

That photo was posted 4 days ago...and seeing as to how Nate saw essentially zero PT vs Purdue, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see how I came to this conclusion.

Certainly looks that way. I would hate to see it. I love Roberson's ability to run, but I think the offense has the best chance to maximize its potential when Sudfeld is playing.

Could it be everyone is reading too much into it?  Is it kofi hating on the hair?  Why did Nate come in when Tre lost is mouthpiece and helmet and not Cam? 

 

I would really hate to see Nate leave as I like what both Tre and Nate bring to the offense.  As we saw last year, you are only one play away from being the starter.  Tre and Nate can coexist..

I was referring to an injury more so than a bad play.  Tre is a mobile/ semi-running QB, they don't tend to last an entire season as the only QB.

Maybe something happened during school between Nate and Kofi. And at least Nate does get playing time. I think Cam is gone.

I mentioned this discussion to my friend, who has some inroads to the team. She said she had it on "good authority" that Coffman was gone. Not sure how reliable or true this is, just found it interesting. She won't come off w any more info

Coffman's leaving seems more believable than Sudfeld. Coffman was just never really an option this season. Don't see that changing and he probably doesn't either.
