Had two new beers over the weekend. One was Hoegarden (sp?) And Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat. I didn't care for the H-Garden, but the Boulevard one was really good. I don't like a ton of after taste, and was better for me.

Strange. I like Hoegarden, but the only wheat I've ever had that I liked was Sam Adams Cherry Wheat, and thats only if you wanted desert.

Had a Dead Guy Ale last night for the first time. Heard a lot of good things before trying it, I enjoyed it

Tried a sterling premium pilsner for the first time really liked it. The can was off too as you pull off the top just like a soup can.

Yesterday, I had:

Red Hook Long Hammer IPA - wasn't a big fan.

Hosts Rye Lager - I probably will never buy it, but could drink it if it was in front of me.

Don't know enough about beer to really give good description. The Red Hook has more of a zesty-lemony after taste. Hoss (Natty's neck of the woods from Denver) had more of a settling taste. Label said it had malt in it, but like I said, I don't know enough about beer to give good descriptions.

I'm going to buy a pick-6 to take home to the in-laws this weekend and share with the father-in-law.

Just tried 3 new ones with the father-in-law. Ranking from my favorite of the 3 to least.

- White Rascal - Didn't have a description of it. Just a nice beer.

- Red Hook Audible Ale - A settling beer that has more of an after taste the more you drink it.

- #9 Not So Quite Pale Ale - wasn't a big fan. Darker beer with quite a bit of flavor.
