March 8 will be a busy day for 2015 Carmel (Ind.) athlete Isaac James, who has visits set to both Illinois and Indiana that day.

Carmel (Ind.) High athlete Isaac James reported to 247Sports that he'll be back at Indiana on Saturday for an overnight visit in Bloomington.

 

The Hoosiers are a top contender for the in-state talent along with the likes of Illinois, Missouri and Wisconsin.

 

The 6-foot, 180-pound James added that he'll camp at Ohio State on July 21, and that a trip to Purdue could also be a possibility.

 

James was the Sparq champion at April's Chicago Nike Football Training Camp, posting a 4.40 40-yard dash, 4.25 shuttle, 36.1 vertical and a 37 ½ power ball.

This will be the first time the 5-foot-11 ½, 180-pound James will visit the Wildcats campus since being offered back in May.

 

James doesn’t have an exact timetable for a college season and hasn’t completely narrowed his list of offers, but Indiana and Wisconsin are two other programs he knows he’ll have a tough time saying no to.

 

The Hoosiers were first to offer James and he’s been to campus many times including this spring and summer.

 

“Just being so close, it’s just easy to get down there, even for a Friday junior day or anything spontaneous, it’s easy to get down there, and it’s not that far as opposed to if I wanted to go to West Point, I’d have to plan that out in advance. Everything with IU is spontaneous and it gives me an opportunity to go there more often because it’s close physically and it helps on an emotional level for the staff to be so close.” James still hasn’t been to Wisconsin but wants to get there soon.

Wisconsin has pulled even in the crystal ball predictions for three-star athlete Isaac James. James is currently in Madison taking an unofficial visit and has a top three of Wisconsin, Northwestern, and Indiana.

 

Wisconsin and Northwestern each have 40 percent of the crystal ball predictions for James.

Indiana coach Kevin Wilson was here tonight to see Carmel's Issac James. James will visit IU tomorrow for North Texas game.

Guess he didn't make it for the game on Saturday and a correction on his Wisconsin OV from above.

James has an official visit lined up to Wisconsin for next weekend, his first official. He said he also plans to take official visits to Missouri and Northwestern after the conclusion of Carmel's season, which could stretch as long as Thanksgiving weekend if the Greyhounds reach the state championship game. Indiana is also in the mix for James, had planned to visit Bloomington for the North Texas game this weekend but did not.
