Cards are contenders every year. By the way, Cards fans, what is it with some of the hate of the ownership? I read the STLToday.com forums, and they rip DeWitt constantly. Never understood that. We have a nice stadium, and are almost always in the hunt.

I couldn't tell you either. Unless there are things going on I'm now aware of, things are always going great. Love my Cardinals and the way the office runs it.

Is it any different than some of the CTC hate on IU boards? Doesn't really matter what sport it is you always have that kind of thing  on forums. As for the PD forum it is completely non-moderated and has long been a cesspool of idiocy. Just stay away unless you're after some laughs or enjoy watching train wrecks.

Mr. Tavarez is injured again. Really hope he can get healthy, because I would hate for him to become one of those guys who was to be a super star, but could never stay healthy.

Received a letter in the mail for banking appreciation dates to four different games this season. $60 for suite tickets. Wifey and I are going all out lol.

Joe Kelly gets the 5th starter spot. Carlos Martinez back to the 8th inning where he excelled late last year. Don't be surprised if Carlos goes back to Memphis to get stretched out to start if Motte comes back strong from his TJ surgery. He could be the late season spark plug much like Wacha was last year. Inning management will be a factor for him if he heads to the rotation later.   Angel Castro was dropped from the 40 man today to make room for Neshek to be added and make the team. It will be nice to have two veteran relievers in the pen with all those flame throwing kids.  Kolten Wong has the 2b job locked up and as of yesterday was leading the team in BA @ .375 or so iirc. This after an Ofer 10 start to ST this year.

- Still trying to finish piecing together their bullpen, the Cardinals made a late addition to the competition by signing right-hander David Aardsma to a Minor League deal on Wednesday.

Aardsma arrived at the Cardinals' spring clubhouse Wednesday morning to find a No. 53 jersey hanging at what had been a vacant locker. The Cardinals, who announced the signing shortly after, intend to get their first in-person look at Aardsma later in Wednesday's game.

 

 

 

Also in today's ST game Bryce Harper tossed for arguing with 1B ump after rightfully being called out.
