I just found that email too, all it says is "Lower End/Club End" and the ticket price.  No idea if Lower End means 100 level or 300 level at the United Center.  If I had realized this was how tickets were doled out, I would have just gone on StubHub and chosen my seats.

Seems like the ticket office needs to update the way they handle events that aren't at Assembly Hall

I’m waiting to see if my order is fulfilled for the Louisville game, but now wishing I just went through the secondary market instead

Yep agree. Mine was "lower corner". I imagine both of ours means we're in the 100s which should be solid at the UC, but I'll be pretty upset if we somehow get sent somewhere else.

I'll be curious to see what happens after they're distributed, but for now decent seats are pretty expensive on secondary markets.

Update - Marquette tickets have been allocated but they do not yet appear in accounts or order history. Not sure when that will happen but shouldn't be too far out.

If you want to know your seat assignment now just call the ticket office and they will look it up.

Louisville and mini-series allocations have not been completed yet.

I just basically got told to piss off and wait for my email. Lol sick.

No way! I've had numerous friends call and have no problem getting their seats assignments.

Call again- you won't get the same prick a second time.

The Marquette game is in 12 days, the fact that tickets haven't been sent out yet is a little ridiculous.

Hope you find out soon! Not to rub it in, but this makes me glad I just purchased through Ticketmaster lol. IU ticket office needs to get it together... I've had my tickets for a few weeks. Section 216 here.

I just called the ticket office and they said a ticket download instruction email should be sent out by the end of the week.  The young kid answering the phone didn't sound all that confident though.

Ridiculous but not surprising.

Has anyone tried calling the ticket office lately to get their seat assignments? I know that some had success with the ticket office a week ago but that some were rebuffed when they asked.  Might be worth another try?

Did you ask about your seat assignment or just when tickets will be aavailable for download?

I didn't ask about seat assignments, just wanted to make sure I didn't miss an email that had gone out

Didn't get the feeling the person I talked to would have told me even had I asked

I got tickets for the Empire Classic in NYC a couple years ago through IU. And had the same frustrations you guys are having. Took months for them to tell me whether or not my request would even be filled. (While the available stock on Ticketmaster gradually dwindled down during that time)

IU ticket office needs to do better.

Any thoughts as to the reasoning behind the delay? Are they trying to prevent fans from flipping the tickets on the secondary market? Is the venue slow rolling the distribution of tickets so it can sell the rest if its inventory first?

Whatever the reasoning, I guess I can expect to hear about my Louisvillle tickets sometime after Thanksgiving...
