We interrupt the Fire Coach Woodson Thread to bring you this important announcement.  IU women host the pathetic losers from that armpit of the nation, cesspool of the world Rutgers (9-13) (1-10) and 1-5 in road games.  GDI, this game should be over by the end of the 1st Q and Jules, Henna, Faith get some significant playing time and not have to have our starters log as many minutes.  After this game, we're on the road at Minny (18-5) (6-5) on the 9th and at Michigan (15-7) (6-5) on the 12th.  Kiyomi McMiller at 19 ppg and Destiny Adams at 17.5 ppg are the main scoring threats combining for over half of Rutgers' average offense of 69 ppg.  Adams at 9.9 and Chyna Cornwell at 7.6 are their primary rebounders.  Team is 29% on 3s and average almost 16 TOs/gm.

After 1st Q women hold a 14-8 lead but ended the quarter on a 4-minute scoring drought.  Big negative is Syd picked up 2 fouls after scoring 7 pts.  One of the Rutgers starters went down with what looked like a pretty bad ankle injury and likely won't return.

Played a little better in the quarter but not sharp.  9 TOs and Chloe has 5 of them.  Syd and Lexi both have 2 fouls.  Rutgers with 4 players each with 2 fouls.

Reb:  Shay, Yardon, Chloe each with 3               21-15 rebounding advantage for us.
