May 16-18 is an Evaluation Period - Staffs can watch but no in-person off-campus contact permitted.

May 23-26 is a Dead Period - No direct on or off-campus contact and no official or unofficial visits are permitted.\

July 10-13 and July 17-20 are Evaluation Periods.

UAA in KC this year. Hadn’t caught that before. Nice. Wonder if there’s any chance Adidas has changed their streaming platform? BallerTV is an utter screw job.

The UAA kicked things off last weekend but the only other major event this month is EYBL April 25-27 in Mesa, AZ.  At this point, I'm not sure it's a full scale EYBL weekend as from what I've seen, a lot of the major teams have yet to be listed as attending.  Regardless, May is loaded with events.  They'll take June off and wrap the seasons up in July.

It's my intent to try to follow all of the IU offers, including Woody's, that I can until we know for certain they're no longer on the IU radar.  Highly likely that most of Woody's offers will not be reaffirmed by DDV but it gives an old man something to do in the heat of the summer.

The UAA circuit has always been a stepchild on the shoe circuit in terms of the numbers of kids getting IU offers and even if you extend it to kids that at one time or another we may have had some interest in, the numbers are well below those of EYBL (Nike) and 3SSB (adidas).  As it stands today, '27 Chase Branham is the only UAA player that has an actual IU offer and we know that's a good offer because it came from DDV.

Below, I'm listing the players with IU offers playing on the EYBL and 3SSB circuits.  The teams they're associated with are based on last summer but these kids do jump around so it's possible they're playing with another team or even on a different circuit in 2025.

'26 EYBL Offers

  1. Allen, Kayden - Nightrydas
  2. Funches, Sam - Team Thad
  3. Green, Manny - Nightrydas
  4. Johnson, Jayden - IndyHeat
  5. Montonati, Jalen - MoKan
  6. Sularski, Gabe - Team Herro

'27 EYBL Offers

  1. Davis, Jaxson - MeanStreets
  2. Mitchell, Jaylan - Bradley Beal Elite
  3. Oladotun, Baba - Team Durant
  4. Thompson, Davion - MeanStreets

'26 3SSB Offers

  1. Holt, Caleb - Game Elite
  2. Kinney, Taylen - Wildcats Select
  3. Landrew, Colben - Game Elite
  4. Reynolds, Steven III - Phenom United
  5. Thompson, Anthony "Ant" - Indiana Elite
  6. Weis, Gabe - Wildcats Select

'27 3SSB Offers

  1. Gardner, Jason Jr - Indiana Elite

OTHERS

  1. '26 Jonathan Sanderson - Hoop City Bball Club - New Balance
  2. '26 Gan Erdene Solongo - Hoop City Bball Club - New Balance
  3. '26 Aidan Chronister - AAO Flight - PRO16/NXT

There is some overlap between Woody and DD offers in the 26'%27' classes.

Anthony Thompson, Gabe Weis, and Baba Oladotun. The later being a DMV kid.

Some interesting  names Sabastian Wilkins , Darron Rippey,  Ollie's Onyejiaka all have offers from DD.

Not doubting you but can you steer me as to where you've seen this so I can start updating my spreadhsheets for AAU season?  Thanks in advance.   A PM would be great if you feel it's necessary.

Cooper Zachary is a high school teammate of Jason Gardner at Fishers HS.  Really don't think he'll ever be on the IU radar but he could have a solid career at a mid-major.

44 total points in 2 games for ‘27 PG Cooper Zachary (Indiana Elite-3SSB) at @TheHoopGroup Indy Jam Fest today 21 pts. in game 1 and 23 pts. in game 2

Recruits Zone at Indiana Jam Fest:  2026 prospect DeZhon Hall had himself a big time performance against a tough Wildcat Select 3SSB team earlier today. Finished with 18 PTS & 4 ASTS. Hall displayed elusiveness with the ball in his hands, worked downhill very well, and had some big time stops on the defensive end.

Got to see him play in a showcase event in January and I like that kid a good bit. Worth keeping long-term tabs on. Different sort of player, but it’s not hard to see him take a Javon Small sort of path where he starts at a mid-major and by his junior year he’s a pretty popular portal option for power conference schools

I debated about posting this information since every one of these kids was a Woody offer and it remains to be seen if DDV and staff will have any interest in pursuing any one of them.  But FWIW here's the stats for the EYBL event held in Mesa, AZ this weekend.

Bump.

May is a big month for AAU action and next weekend the 3SSB  kicks it off in Bryan, TX.  Anyone close that might want to attend, here's a list of some of the kids you might see play based on their 2024 teams.  Anthony Thompson and Jason Gardner Jr., have both been reported as having their IU offers reaffirmed by DDV.  It remains to be seen if any of the others get any interest from DDV.  By the end of May, we should get a pretty good feel for DDV's '26 and '27 targets and if any of Woody's other offers get reaffirmed.

'26 3SSB Offers

  1. Holt, Caleb - Game Elite
  2. Kinney, Taylen - Wildcats Select
  3. Landrew, Colben - Game Elite
  4. Reynolds, Steven III - Phenom United
  5. Thompson, Anthony "Ant" - Indiana Elite
  6. Weis, Gabe - Wildcats Select

'27 3SSB Offers

  1. Gardner, Jason Jr - Indiana Elite
