2024-2025 Minutes Projections

Curious to see what everyone thinks. I like to do this at the start of the year as far as averages for the season. Here is what I was thinking. Tell me where you think I'm wrong/right. 

Rice 32

Mgbako 27

Reneau 26

Ballo 25

Carlyle 22

Galloway 20

Goode 16

Tucker 14

Cupps 11

Hatton 7

There will be some games Cupps sees nowhere near that and probably some DNP's for Hatton. I can't trust Newton yet to put him in rotation. 

I think Rice is going to be the Alpha for this team. I think Carlyle and Galloway essentially split time. Depending on matchups there will be some games Galloway sees more playing time. Malik will see time at the 5. At Arizona Ballo played 25-27 minutes a game. That's 13-15 minutes left for him. 

Lineup I'd like to see the most: Rice, Carlyle, Tucker, Mgbako, Ballo/Reneau

Not far off imo except I'm banking on Jakai working his way into real minutes, yes they're slow-walking him back but we've seen him in a starter jersey from short practice clips and Woodson was vocal about how he's our best (hey, only) above-the-rim player -- and you don't get that kind of statement from a guy not playing his way back. Also tend to think we see Leal with some time, think Woodson will insert him at times for his veteran play to stabilize things when needed.

I can't tell yet on Gallo since he's also working his way back. Tend to think he'll play more than Carlyle

Reneau will be lower than that, IMO.  Goode, Galloway and Tucker will all be around 20 and I think that’s where Reneau will land too, somewhere around 20-23 minutes.
