Yea.  Once we get more time with the high school recruiting relationships we should improve there, probably starting next year.  That aspect is dragging down our ranking, we are pretty good on transfers.  

Our NIL is still not quite near the big programs yet.  It’s improving, but realistically it is a limitation (not self-imposed!).  I am impressed we got Mendoza from some big programs that really needed a QB.

And of course, rankings aren’t everything as we learned.

Before the beginning of the just completed IU FB season, on this site we had predictions of how many games IU would win with the new coach and team.  I stretched, knowing that Coach Cig was a definite winner...to 8 wins...we got 11 amazing wins!

Has anyone revisited?  And crowned the goofball, I mean visionary, that predicted more?

Understand but also can’t get over being an IU fan since the late 80’s.  My pessimistic nature regarding us sustaining success is strong.
