We finally pulled our heads out of our a$$ in the 4th Q and return to Bloomington with a 67-59 win.  We get the 'W' but Maine deserved it more.  Next Sunday at 2:00 we host Stetson.

We ended up 43% FG vs 40% for Maine

Don’t have ESPN+, but a second half 38-22 is good.

We also clearly controlled their superstar in the second half. She still scored some, but missed a ton of second half shots.

I wish we would have utilized our bench more tonight, especially when our starters were not showing the effort and results we are accustomed to.

Did IU Ladies design a game plan to play a certain way and were going to win that particular way regardless as long as they won and then use it for prep and teaching for big ten.  The same could happen vs Stetson.

B.K. especially in his prime unless he was trying to make a statement win a few games IU would play a certain way even if they looked awful doing it.

It seems like IU Ladies were not really trying to win as in blowout in this one but more of a celebration tour game.

If not, hard to tell where this season goes.

Doubtful that it was a deliberate plan. If it was they would have scrapped it as soon as things went south in the first half.

Who knows, but I doubt it. In my opinion, the first half plan/results seemed very similar to the Stanford game. It was difficult to get the ball to Mackenzie and we were not hitting threes.

Love Bargesser's quickness, defense and she has the ability to play lead guard but her shooting stroke is a disaster. Her free throw shooting is painful to watch with the twist of her torso.

Hopefully someone can work with her because everything else is great and we need her to play.
