Not sure, TBH. I would guess maybe no -- or maybe we showed lukewarm interest. Not to sound too arrogant, but I would think if IU were interested, it would be a more attractive option than Vermont. Unless, of course, she had her heart set on Vermont for some reason or another. 

She's a fourth-year senior, so this is her last season. Not sure if she can, or would, take an extra year because of COVID. I'm not sure how all that works anymore.

3-point shooting hasn't been a real strength and Scalia was recruited to help and she's started off hitting 3-5.  Garzon is 3-6 and those 2 women could really help open up the middle if they can be a consistent 3-point threat.

Injury.  Don't remember the nature but it didn't sound like it was overly serious.

Friday night we host UMass Lowell and next Monday we take a road trip to face Tennessee and we'll start to get a real feel for just what this team can do.

Garzon is going to be a good one and I think Parrish is an upgrade from Gulbe.

I worry about defending quickness out front with our guards but it may be unfounded.When Bargesser is 100 percent she'll make a difference there.Quick on quick.
