What I read indicates the starters exited the game just 2:22 min. into the 3rd Q and leading 62-15.  This was the fewest points ever allowed by a Great Crossing team and the 6th time they've held an opponent to under 40 points.

Tournament play underway in Kentucky and Great Crossing annihilates Frankfort 106-22.  Moreno 14p;  11r; 4a;  3b.  No idea how many minutes he played but I can't imagine it was much more than half the game.

Great Crossing just keeps steamrolling the opposition.  Last night a 99-46 rout of Western Hills.  Moreno 12 pts. and 8 reb. in likely limited minutes.

In Kentucky state tournament action Great Crossing over Madison Southern 85-64.  Moreno finished with 28 pts the only shot he missed was a single FT hitting 9-9 FG and 10-11 FT.  Also had 15 reb. and 3 blks.

After Spencer County hung with Great Crossing for the better part of 3 quarters, Great Crossing ended the game on a 25-4 run and won 62-48.  They face McGoffin County Friday morning with the winner to advance to the Kentucky state finals.

Great Crossing playing a state semifinal game this morning and up 27 pts. with 3 min. still left in the 2nd Q.  Moreno had a double double 10 min. into the game.

Malachi's season ended 58-49 at the hands of Travis Perry and Lyon County.   Limited stats as provided by KHSAA.

37 gms. he averaged 15.9 pts. and 13.0 reb.   64% FG and 60% FT.  He only attempted 4 3-pt. shots and missed all 4.

Moreno’s time as a somewhat under-valued  kid is about to come to a crashing end. And, yeah, I know he’s a top 30-ish kid now. No, he’s better than that. Hopefully, IU being in early is significant or the Barrel Rick stuff proves accurate because everyone’s gonna be in here.
