Talia Goodman:  A scouting report on #IUWBB commit Faith Wiseman from a B10 coach who’s seen her play: “Can play the 4 or the 5. Plays a lot on the perimeter for her AAU team. Good handles for a post player, but needs to tighten that up to be exclusively on the perimeter.”  “Needs to get more comfortable scoring against size. Plays with a motor. Good timing. She is a high level volleyball player - probably could have been a power 5 volleyball player. Her biggest strength right now is her ability to defend and guard multiple positions.”

 

She played AAU on the 16U Indiana Elite team on the Adidas circuit.  In 13 games she averaged 5.9ppg on 35% FG; 15% on 3s; 62% FT; 4.5 reb; 3.0 asst; 4.2 TO; .8 stls; 1.3 blks.

Upside very high ceiling.  Seen as listed from 6’2” to 6’4” so it’s currently 6’3”.  Offers from some solid and top programs.

Seems like it. Those AAU aren’t pretty. HS numbers look strong. And we’ve reached the point of TrustInTeri.

#6 in 3A Indian Creek defeated Monrovia 70-38.  Wiseman 16p; 11r; 6a.

Faith Wiseman had 31 points and 10 rebounds in a 76-47 win over Owen Valley.

20p; 10r; 5b in a 62-15 Indian Creek rout of Cloverdale.  Indiana Creek is ranked #3 in Class 3A.

In the weekly IBCA non-class poll, Indian Creek (11-0) is ranked #10.   Her 10-game scoring stats are 16 ppg.  8-game rebounding stats are 10 rpg.  Not enough data in the other stat components to warrant posting.

Cloverdale is a common opponent of my alma mater…not to take anything away from the performance because I’m sure she played limited minutes but the Clovers girls basketball program isn’t very good this year…our girls team has struggled and beat them by 20+.

Easier to take big girls (and guys) away like that in HS, compared to the college game. 

You saw it with Cody Zeller and TJD, as well, at times.
