Alexis working out for the Pacers.  If he goes to the Pacers, I see him as undrafted FA as they don't have a pick later this month in the draft.

Some Bozich observations from practice. Nothing super insightful, though I’m not sure how exciting it is to read that sub-50% free throw shooting Samet is putting up 3’s. Certainly hope that’s just drill work. Not looking for pick and pops with that kid.

And here are the observations from Mike Schumann. Common observations from both articles? Of the less established players, Sisley and Alex Moody very much look the part. Also, no mention of Lindsay in either article so I assume he’s dinged. Also multiple mentions about size and athleticism with multiple players, which is a welcome change after last year.

If DDV gets this thing righted, looking back from down the road Moody and Branham are gonna be remembered as cornerstones. It’s gonna be Moody’s team some day.

The last time I saw as mature yet fun and focused attitude with an IU freshman was with VO. Prince Alex Moody is it. Even with multiple veteran guards he’s gonna play. A lot.

Prince Alex and media observers all kinda comped Karvala’s skill set to Troy Williams (on the court-not with some crazy weed habits). So that’s intriguing.

Better athlete than Troy. Better vertical pop off 1 foot. Runs better. Better stop/start/change of direction. Man, I want him to hang with it. If he’s patient enough to work through the physical maturation process and develops a real competitive edge he’s got absolutely smokin’ tools as a 2-way player.

That’s intriguing. Sounds like the kind of guy we hope sticks around for his soph year and we get to see it all come together. Hope we get continuity with this group and Karvala keeps developing with that athleticism
