Losing Coach Womack was a lot bigger loss than we gave it credit for. Last year our defense put all kinds of pressure on the QB and he had energy on the sidelines similar to CTA. Our defense is vanilla this year, and our talent is better, so that shouldn’t be the case.

DBs aren't out making plays and getting to the ball quicker either. Looks like a Wilson defense again. Just sitting back and waiting.

I think you mean Wommack? ... Sheridan is our OC.

Yep. I edited it. Thinking faster than I could type. Womack had our defense in all sorts of different looks and bringing pressure from everywhere. Coach Warren’s defense looks too predictable. Maybe because he came from Georgia and had a lot better talent so he could just rely on His defensive backs to make plays without doing anything exotic. IDK. Big difference this year. And that’s the biggest variable that changed. We should have opened up the pocket book to keep Womack.

Be nice to see a replay if Mullen stepped on the goal line before batting the ball back.

Yeah -- that was weird. Not only did they not show a decent replay, but the official stood and watched Mullen tip it out -- and about 5 seconds later, he signaled for a touchback.

Some definite complacency came with the Warren hire and it shows through in his scheme. Not sure we could’ve paid enough to keep Wommack. That dude wanted to lead a program, bad.
