They took a step forward this year and now instead of building on it they’re losing everything. They’ll have, presumably, Wooley back, London Johnson, the G League kid who didn’t play this year and is apparently the next PG, Khalifa who was the lesser half of their C pair with Fru, and then just some spare parts. And no ‘26 recruits. They’re basically starting over again. That is rough. Maybe Carr had a bigger impact than we know….probably not being an assistant, but maybe Quote

Stuhoo Posted Wednesday at 02:49 AM Posted Wednesday at 02:49 AM All of the inflated price portaling is getting interesting as heck, and is going to be a case study in unrestricted free market economics. When a market is truly flooded and with some unrealistic expectations by the sellers and there are budget limitations for almost all of the buyers, there are going to be players who end up with no real offers of consequence. This seller’s market in early April could turn on a dime into a massive buyer’s market in May. Demo, Home Jersey, Jeff Flabjohns and 3 others 6 Quote

But they mostly got seniors. That’s the problem with grabbing a bunch of one year guys. As far as Fru goes, I would probably not expect a ton of loyalty out of Euro pros. BA47591 Posted Wednesday at 12:10 PM Posted Wednesday at 12:10 PM It's heating up. Rooths and Fru are interesting pieces. I like that VT center too. The pg position will be interesting. Quote

When Woody offered him I watched some of his games, either as a Soph or a Jr, thought he was a good looking prospect, and was really down with that kid. And it just hasn’t come. At all. Quote
BA47591 Posted Wednesday at 03:32 PM Posted Wednesday at 03:32 PM The bigs that don't scare me are Bonke, Fru and Gurdak At this moment the PGs that could be gettable,,,,I think are Hammond and the frosh from Colorado. Wings are a dime a dozen. Quote

Funny how that works out. I was a huge fan of Malik Mack and Baye Ndongo 2 years ago and they've failed to improve as well. Demo 1 Quote
HoosierCoop Posted Wednesday at 03:37 PM Posted Wednesday at 03:37 PM I would love to have PJ Haggerty but I would worry about distribution of shots. He was KSU's 1,2,and 3 scoring option last year and they had a really down year. If he could work in a Wilkerson type of replacement, let's do it. I would prefer he would be 1 of 3 other scoring options we should have. Quote
RaceToTheTop Posted Wednesday at 04:09 PM Posted Wednesday at 04:09 PM Curtis Givens, Memphis. 6'3" guard. 9.4 pts, shot 43 / 37 / 66. Two years of eligibility left. Quote

The one awesome thing with Rooths was watching him play with Darius Acuff at IMG. He HATED that kid and didn’t even bother to hide it. He would just stand and glare at him as Acuff would pound the air out of the ball. Quote

You better really trust your system and staff to be able to integrate a guy like that successfully. What separates him from a guy like AJ Storr? Quote

AH1971 Posted Wednesday at 04:52 PM Posted Wednesday at 04:52 PM High level 3pt shooter from DC. Could fill Dorn’s role and can actually handle the ball. I wouldn’t hate a Freitage/Sabol package deal. Quote
