Breaking: Starting guard Gabe Kalscheur has a broken hand and and is out indefinitely for Minnesota.

Thats a bit of a help for IU although you don't wish injury on anyone.

Don't know....might prefer to have a guy shooting 32% in their lineup.

Reports are coming out that Robbins is in uniform and going through warm-ups.

Could be seeing how he looks in warm ups.  But he has not played well the last three games -- 7 of 24 from the field with 12 fouls in a total of 62 minutes.  Sounds like a stat line of a guy who was trying to play through an ankle injury and it just really came to a head last game.  FWIW, it was a reaggravation of a previous injury on January 30th....so he probably never really got through it.

Something to watch IF he does play:  26 fouls in the last 6 games.  Woof.

Phin has to step up for me. This game is basically designed for him to succeed. I mean enough with the “confidence” thing man. Grow up tonight.

Yup. The inconsistency has to stop. If it doesn't, and we find ourselves out of the running for the tournament, time to give Landers more time for development sake.

Agreed. I was against cutting Robs minutes in favor of Kristian because I was afraid we’d lose Rob mentally. I don’t think we can afford it if he was to check out. Eventually it gets old waiting for a guy to figure out if he wants to be the point guard of the Indiana basketball team. He need to show it tonight.

I wish it was more of an inconsistency thing because that would mean he would be showing more flashes.  He's only topped 12 points twice this year.  The defense is there but we need him to both distribute and score.
