Zagoria:  on Monday IU will be at Overtime Elite for Naas Cunningham #1 in the ‘24 class.

So, they’re visiting Naas Cunningham? The Naas Cunningham who, despite being the consensus #1 kid in the class, has very few offers because no one thinks he’s going to college, that Naas Cunningham? Nothing wrong with due diligence. Stranger things have happened.

IU watching top-100 6’10” ‘24 C Peyton Marshall from Marietta, GA, per Rivals.

Marshall attended Norcross HS in Norcross, GA for his freshman season and then transferred to Kell HS in Marietta, GA for his sophomore season.   He's ranked #59 by Rivals and #72 by On3.  He's unranked by both 247 and ESPN.   He played AAU for Game Elite 16U on the Adidas circuit.  I found data for 10 games and he averaged 10.7 ppg on 54% FG and 49% FT.  He only attempted 1 3-pointer which he missed.  He averaged 7.1 rpg; 1.1 asst; 3 TO; .5 stl and 2.3 blks.

Breakdown into tiers by Lasley of what I assume he believes to be IU’s footing with their ‘24 offers along with some scouting notes on the more serious recruitments,

Side note on one of my favorites: there is zero chance Raleigh Burgess weighs 230.

Justin Byerly:  Indiana is expected to see 2024 guard Rakease Passmore of Combine Academy tomorrow. North Carolina and Duke next week.  He'll play for Combine Academy this season after transferring from A. C. Reynolds HS in Asheville, NC.

Imagine if he played for IU. A coaching interaction with Woody:

Woody: "That shot was terrible. What were you thinking Passmore?!?"

Rakease: "But Coach, I was wide open."

Woody: "You know what? You're right. Guys, we should all have a Passmore attitude out there."

Ya: "You heard Coach. Pass more."

Woody: "No. Shoot it!"
