Punt John Punt @PuntJohnPunt Following in the footsteps of fellow former Rutgers RB commits Saquon Barkley and Jonathan Taylor, Stevie Scott leads all freshmen and is tied for 4th nationally in carries per game and is 2nd among freshmen and 8th nationally in rushing yards per game HoosierAloha, IUsafety, Naturalhoosier and 2 others 5 Quote

You don't just run for 200 yards in a game, especially in those conditions against a P5 opponent in your second game ever. Will he ever post a 1500 yard season? Who knows, but he'll get defenses' attention and really help open up our offense. HoosierAloha 1 Quote

This is something we have to be able to do to be successful because our QB's just aren't going to go out and sling the ball all over the field. Has to be a well balanced attack. The real test for our running game starts 9/22 against Mich St. A team we have a better chance of beating than I originally thought after watching them struggle against Utah St. and lose to AZ St. VPC 1 Quote
