Women defeat Evansville 1-0 as sophomore forward Marisa Grzesiak netted her first career goal on a second chance header in the 18th minute.  The women travel to Knoxville, Tenn. on Thursday, Aug. 31 for a matchup against the Lady Vols.

My bad.  I overlooked the small fact that August has 31 days.  Match with Tennessee is Thursday night at 6:00.

GOAL!  Women take a 1-0 lead over #25 Tennessee on a breakaway by Webber at 33'| when the Tennessee keeper came off her line and Webber poked it behind her.

Final score 2-2.  Women faced an almost non-stop second half attack by the Lady Vols and return home with a season record of 3-0-2.  They host Northern Illinois on Sunday at 7:00pm.

I think this is an important year to see what this staff can do.  Can they get to another level or become more consistent?  I am hopeful but skeptical
