If I am correct the top 100 guys that we have been connected to are:

Caleb Love 30’s
Nimari Burnett 30’s
Zack Loveday 50’s
Leal 70’s

Seems likely to be a down recruiting class.

Offers to Morton, Andre Jackson and Isaiah Jackson as well

Prolific Prep bounced back with a 91-79 win over Triity International.  Burnett with 27 pts.

Observations from Eric Bossi and we probably shouldn't get our hopes up too high -

LAS VEGAS -- Ranked No. 41 in the class of 2020, high scoring guard Nimari Burnett backed up his lofty status at the Tarkanian Classic.

A big time wing scorer from Chicago who plays at Napa (Calif.) Prolific Prep, Burnett smoked deep jumpers, played above the rim and showed big time feel and ability to put the ball in the hole. He's certainly taking a big leap as a junior.

"The biggest difference is me being more of a leader and being more vocal." told Rivals.com. "Communicating with my teammates and making sure that everybody is on the same page has helped my game get a lot better since last year. My athleticism and my IQ period are better too.

"I feel like I've got to choose my shots a little better and be smarter in certain situations. I've got to know where the defense is, who is guarding me and the best way to attack it."

Burnett has wide ranging offers from programs like Arizona, Arizona State, DePaul, Illinois, Marquette, Ohio State, Texas A&M, USC, Vanderbilt and many others. Michigan, Florida State, Arizona State, Stanford, Illinois and Xavier are among the schools he's noticed in to see him lately.

Most recently he saw Arizona State and Stanford unofficially and each trip made a favorable impression.

Arizona State: "The pitch was to tell me to keep working and keep going hard to get myself ready for the next level. They told me that they aren't going to sugarcoat anything for me and they want the best for me."

Stanford: "It was really good. The coaches love me and we have a great relationship and we talk almost every day. They like when I come and visit and it's not that far, it's only like an hour and a half from me. It's always a pleasure to be at Stanford and to experience the whole culture of Stanford."

With a few visits under his belt and no shortage of quality options, Burnett could easily start to trim things down. Instead, he's waiting to see who else gets involved and isn't looking to make any kind of a decision for a while.

"I might start narrowing things down next year, like beginning of my senior year. I might make my commitment at the middle of my senior year but I don't have anything planned.

All the fans came to see LaMelo but Nimari Burnett has completely stolen the show with Prolific up 28. All over the place defensively, putting pressure on the rim, making shots off the dribble and the catch. Showing a ton or passion. Big fan of his NBA potential.

Nimari Burnett has had himself quite the season with Prolific Prep. Recently scored 35 points against LaMelo Ball and Spire Institute.

His recruitment has been going well also, he has several options from many different conferences.

“Illinois, Marquette, Indiana, Arizona, USC, Louisville and Ohio State are on me the hardest.”

Illinois: comes at me hard and the coaches love my game. They believe I can be an impactful player.

Marquette: loves my ability of shooting, IQ, and over feel for the game and they believe I can come in and pick up where Markus Howard is leaving off.

Indiana: contacts me multiple times per week and keeps in touch and love my game.

Arizona: believes I can come in and be one of their next top guys and come in contribute right away.

USC: believes I can come in and start as a freshman and help towards winning a national title.

Louisville: loves my game and they express how much they want me to be apart of their school and their rich history.

Ohio State: reaches out to me very often and have a good relationship and they love my game as well.

Burnett also told Stockrisers that he has two unofficial visits planned. He will be at Louisville on February 22nd and then heads to Michigan that weekend as well for an unofficial visit.

He also says he won’t cut his list soon.
