Heritage Hills 59, Crawford County 41: The Patriots (4-1) bounced back from their 72-54 loss to Brownsburg Dec. 14. They had three players in double digits. Junior Blake Sisley led with 17 points, followed by senior Murray Becher with 16 and fellow senior Simon Scherry with 12.  The Pats will try to keep it rolling today against Mount Vernon (Posey) as they are once again on their home floor.

Heritage Hills showed no mercy in an 83-38 beatdown of Southridge.  Sisley scored 21 pts. and reportedly played with a 102 degree fever.  WHY?  This game was not going to be in doubt.  Doesn't seem like a smart move to me.

That is a REALLY good question. Since, for the most part, the 17 year old boy is one of the dumbest creatures God ever put on this earth, not surprising he’d want to play. But what parent or coach signs off on that?

Come on man!  102 temps are overrated!  He’s not missing a conference game unless he’s laid up in bed by doctor's orders or physically unable to play with an injury.  That’s who Blake is and part of what makes him a special kid and player to push through things when not feeling your best.   It’s definitely not due to coaching / parental neglect.  IMO, he has the best there is in those two areas.
