Class of '66 Old Fart Posted January 25, 2020 Posted January 25, 2020 Heritage Hills showed no mercy in an 83-38 beatdown of Southridge. Sisley scored 21 pts. and reportedly played with a 102 degree fever. WHY? This game was not going to be in doubt. Doesn't seem like a smart move to me. Since, for the most part, the 17 year old boy is one of the dumbest creatures God ever put on this earth, not surprising he’d want to play. But what parent or coach signs off on that? Come on man! 102 temps are overrated! He’s not missing a conference game unless he’s laid up in bed by doctor's orders or physically unable to play with an injury. That’s who Blake is and part of what makes him a special kid and player to push through things when not feeling your best. It’s definitely not due to coaching / parental neglect. IMO, he has the best there is in those two areas. Geometry Hoosier 1 Quote
