CELEBRATING THE SENIORS Seniors Tyra Buss and Amanda Cahill will be honored in their final regular season home game on Saturday against Nebraska. In their four-year careers, Buss and Cahill have been a part of 73 wins, two postseason appearances including the program's first NCAA Tournament appearance in 14 years and first tournament victory in 33 years. The duo has started in all 124 career games, as neither has never missed a game in their four-year career. A plethora of accolades between them, the duo will go down as the only two players in the top 10 of scoring to play at the same time. ABOUT THE CORNHUSKERS Nebraska comes into Saturday's meeting after improving to 9-0 on the road this season with a 79-69 win over Michigan State. They are led by sophomore guard Hannah Whitish (12.8 ppg., 5.1 apg.) along with junior forward Maddie Simon (10.4 ppg., 5.8 rpg.) and freshman center Kate Cain (10.3 ppg, 6.8 rpg.). They are averaging 69.8 points per game while shooting 43.1 percent from the floor. They lead the league in field goal percentage defense, holding opponents to 36.9 percent from the floor.
