Blackhawk trailed through the first 3 quarters but made a 4th quarter run and won 58-54.  I had Furst with 23 pts. on 10-13 FG; 3-7 FT; 10 reb; 1 asst; 4 TO; 1 stl; 1 blk.   2of his 4 TO's came when he shuffled his feet in the paint before making his move to the bucket.

Blackhawk Christian led most of the way in defeating Bishop Dwenger 68 - 61.  Unofficially, I had Furst with 16 pts. on 5-9 FG; 0-1 on 3's; 6-7 FT; 8 reb; 2 asst; 1 blk; 1 stl.  With 20 sec. left in the game and Blackhawk leading 66-61, in a scramble for a loose ball a Dwenger player called timeout.  Unfortunately, they didn't have any left.

Blackhawk Christian defeated FW Snider 68 - 56.  Unofficially, I had Furst with 25 pts. on 9 - 13 FG; 0-1 on 3's; 7-11 FT; 7 reb; 2 blks; 1 stl; 2 TO's.  2 of the 4 FT's he missed were the front ends of 1 and 1's.  This is at least the 6th game I've watched him play and a couple of things are beginning to stick out.  He runs the fast break well, but he seems slow to move his feet on defense.  He is really left hand dominant to the point he uses his left hand for layups on the right hand side of the bucket.  He did use his right hand once tonight and the announcer made a comment along the lines of "see, he does have a right hand."  Also, when he passes the ball, it's clearly a left hand dominant pass.  When he steps outside on the wing and receives a pass, it seems he invariably takes one dribble and picks it up.

Blackhawk Christian overwhelmed Lakewood Park 112 - 47.  Furst led Blackhawk with 22 pts.

#1 ranked in 1A Blackhawk Christian traveled to Marion and beat the Giants 69 - 60.  Furst with 21 pts. on 9-12 FG; 3-3 FT; 11 reb.

Saturday night FW Blackhawk Christian destroyed Hamilton 101 - 56.  Furst with 23 pts. and 16 reb.

Blackhawk Christian came from behind in the 4th Q to defeat FW South Side 54 - 50.  Furst scored 16 despite being guarded by 6-foot-8 Amari Hall, the rare high school opponent who comes close to matching his 6- 10 frame.

Northwestern will host Top-15 sophomore Caleb Furst for an unofficial visit this weekend, a source told Stockrisers and Prep Hoops. Furst, most recently visited MSU last weekend.

Blackhawk Christian defeated FW Northrop 81 - 67.  Furst with 20 pts.  It was reported that Matt Painter was in the crowd watching Furst.  Blackhawk Christian finishes its regular season with a 21-2 record.

In a total mismatch, Fort Wayne Blackhawk destroyed Lakeland Christian 94 - 30 and will face Hamilton in a semifinal game Friday night.  Furst finished with 14 pts.

Five-star sophomore Caleb Furst has booked an unofficial visit to Louisville for this weekend, a source told Stockrisers.  Two five-star sophomores will now be on campus this weekend for the game against Notre Dame.  Butler, Indiana, Iowa, Northwestern, Ohio State, and Purdue are the ones who’ve extended offers.

Blackhawk Christian isn't showng much brotherly love to Hamilton.  At halftime, Blackhawk leading  65 - 13.   Furst has 15 points.  Where's a mercy rule when Hamilton needs one?
