Plus, they're 10 years apart. A lot of brothers have a best-friend type relationship. I never got that implication from those two. I have no doubt they love each other, but I never got the feeling they're talk-to-each-other-every-day kinda close.

Not sure what the shot-clock situation was, but Al was so wide-open from the 3 line (and he hasn't been hitting all day), he should've driven and stopped and popped a 8-10 footer.

Yes. I did mean .7 seconds. And you can catch in shoot if you're in the act. If you're in motion, catch the ball where you would release it and let it fly, it can be done. But you cannot be flat-footed, catch the ball and take a jump shot in .6 seconds.

Just to take the human element out of it (as far as starting the clock the instant the ball is touched), there should be a rule that if there's .7 of a second or less left, the only thing you can do is tip the ball. You cannot catch and shoot the ball in .6 seconds. It's not humanly possible.
