Do you have to be sober to attend? -
(2018) QB Reese Taylor to IU

I just hope someone establishes himself and becomes that three or four year starter that gives us continuity at the position. -

My drink of choice back in my broke college days in the '60's was Richard's Wild Irish Rose. What your drinking has to be waaay better than that. I just got a headache thinking about it. -
I think we question whether a particular player fits a system or not and what role he might fill on our team. But I don't think anyone really roots against a player or hopes he fails.

I hadn't thought about that, but now I'm worried! -

Just saw that and thought the same thing. Someone there must be pissed at IU. -

This time last year we were watching CAM put together a staff and wondering what kind of first class he could put together given the late start. Now we are on the verge of topping off a stellar class with what some call a generational in-state player. Remarkable! -

We are like kids in the weeks before Christmas, we want every toy we see advertised on tv. -
Juwan Morgan RETURNING For Senior Season

Completely agree. The quality of the players being recruited can all play major minutes at big time programs. Some are not going to get the minutes they expect and will likely move on. -

That very well may happen, but I haven't heard anything from TJD or his family to indicate that he is ready to commit. I would love for that to be the case though. -

I thought he did too, not that it really matters, but Hunter and Anderson committed before he did. I also thought that his offer was still on the table after the other guys popped. As always, I could be wrong about all of this. -

I have to think that the fact that we are recruiting multiple high end players for a limited number of spots puts some pressure on the kids to not wait too long to decide. The Aaron Henry situation comes to mind. Wait too long and someone else takes your place. I have to think CAM implies that when he talks to the kids and their families. And, I'm not unhappy about that at all. -
2019 General Recruiting Thread

I think you can see that Coach Miller is looking for specific skill sets. He knows how he wants to play and goes after kids that fit that model. We, as fans, want all the highest rated kids we can get, but I believe CAM knows he needs three and four year guys to provide the backbone of the program. That's a formula that can produce high level consistency. Once we get through these first two or three years, I fully expect to be very happy with the quality of basketball going forward. -

The job this staff has done with Langford, and this class in general, just amazes me. That and the kids he is after for 2019 makes me believe something very special is being built right before our eyes. I love the focus and going after specific needs. Coach Miller knows exactly what he is doing and why. From someone who has followed IU basketball for over sixty years, this feels really good. -
Who's Declaring/Transferring Around NCAA 2018

Parents of players would probably be better served by staying off of message boards and social media. It seems to seldom go well for those who choose to jump in. -

I have no inside information, but I predict a massive May 1st hangover. -

I really hate it when that happens. So frustrating waiting for the tank to refill! -
There is a recording option. I haven't used it yet but it looks pretty easy to use. The YouTube tv website explains all the features and the current channel lineup. It's definitely worth checking out. I also added antennas to all of my tv's and find I'm watching more over the air stuff than I had imagined. Between the two I'm pretty well covered.

I switched from Comcast to YouTube tv about a month ago and have been pretty happy so far. Huge savings and more sports content than before. Streaming is probably the future of tv.

The story about Haas was in the IndyStar newspaper this morning and just now on the noon news on local tv. I actually feel bad for him. Some dumb decisions, which if I'm honest I could have made when I was young, will follow him forever.

Was in high school during those years and loved those teams! -
This story and/or infection is going to stay with this young man for a while.

Dantonio and Izzo going defiantly forward as if what happened under their watch was no big deal makes me sick!
