He’s a wacky, wacky, but good man who resurrected our program from the bottom of the barrel disaster left after Sampsongate, and who along with a couple B1G championships and SW16 runs, gave us in no particular order, Vic, Cody, Wat, Sheehey, Hulls, Yogi, OG, Bryant, I mean some of the most loved players, and some of the best players to play for IU. Yeah, I like the guy and would love to see him find the right gig -

Calbert is my all-time favorite player. I even bought his Bullets jersey when he went pro. I could not respect Hulls more. He came to IU when we were at rock bottom, he got his @$$ completely kicked for two years, but he stuck with it and won a B1G title. You can't be more of a Hoosier than Hulls. While I love these guys as players, I don't know if they are good assistants and/or if they fit with CDD's system. It appears they aren't a fit, and while it hurts, I'm glad we are seemingly not providing any favoritism towards former players with respect to coaching positions... as we know that can be slightly detrimental (or if it's the head coach, devastating). Of course though, with former players like this we should always be welcoming them back, trying to keep them involved where we can, and keeping them in mind for any jobs they can get on their merits. -

This is why I said she deserves a championship. I hope she can get over the recruiting hump. More NIL? She needs whatever she needs to stay competitive, then her coaching skills will take care of the rest. -

I'd wager we've seen more than one iteration of Tyme on this board. Same goes for SDB. Those two love to interject themselves into every IUBB discussion and behave as if they are the preeminent authority on Indiana basketball. Even though both have gotten many things wrong in the past and just delete the old tweets and pretend it didn't happen. lol -
1 pointlol, he definitely reads this board. Agreeing with him feels kind of gross. Or maybe I should say him agreeing with me. :)

Guy Woodson brought in last year. He was a bench warmer at South Carolina State then transferred to IU. He wasn't expected to get minutes and that turned out to be the case (0 minutes played). His dad was in the NBA so I'm guessing Woodson brought him in as a favor to the dad. -

Good student and dad was a friend of Woody's from the Knicks, so he got a free year of the empty scholly to be a practice player last year. Made Tijan and Priller look like dominant players. He will not be back. -

I love Tom Crean. I don't want him as Indiana's basketball coach, no thank you, but I love his passion for the sport and coaching. I also think deep down he's a good guy. I want to add I think Tom Crean can be a really good basketball coach in the right places. -

If Cronin’s able to pay Dent someone needs to punch him dead in the throat the next time he whines about resources. -

1 point2 things: A) Pretty tough to see him bailing on a LOI with Dan Hurley, but DeVries being able to walk in and offer: 1) the chance to go where he really wanted to be, 2) being a cornerstone of rebuilding the IUBB legend and becoming one himself in the process, and, 3) minutes and shots until his tongue’s dragging the ground, and 4) having way more money, makes for a pretty compelling argument. B) God, how brutal an indictment of Woody would a Mullins flip be? If DeVries with no previous relationship with him can pull that off, yeah he looks like a hero for good reason, but that’s basically the kid saying “I’d have stayed home for anyone but that guy.” That would be one giant F you.

Don with a jab at Mike Woodson here while talking to Coyle... The two were talking about Don meeting with DeVries, and him specifically asking about the coaching staff. Coyle - "Did he know who you are Don, I mean he's just not talking to anybody, but he was talking to you" Don - "Yeah well, that doesn't mean a thing. Trust me. Ask Mike Woodson" https://x.com/IUfaithful89/status/1904592811631976706 -
