Indiana head women's basketball coach Curt Millersigned four players to national letters of intent to join the Hoosiers in 2014 during the early signing period. The four high school standouts signing to play for the Hoosiers next season are Tyra Buss (Mt. Carmel, Ill./Mt. Carmel), Amanda Cahill (Clyde, Ohio/Clyde), Maura Muensterman (Evansville, Ind./Mater Dei) and Jessica Walter (Midland, Mich./Midland). "We are so proud to announce our 2014 signing class," Miller said. "All four are outstanding players but more importantly great character student-athletes that will represent Indiana University on and off the court. The class is full of winners as they compiled a combined 100-12 record last season including an Indiana high school state championship." "The class is full of outstanding shooters and has high basketball IQ," Miller added. "All four are equally competitive in the classroom as they all strive for academic excellence. I think the most impressive stat is three of our signees began their senior year number one in their class academically. I don't think I have ever heard of a BCS program signing three valedictorians in the same class.
