  1. Past hour
  2. I would rather get one more player that can contribute. Like a volume 3 . Then 3 basically practice players.
  3. True, which is why I am still overjoyed that all but Sisley left.
  4. They’re cheap, but most front offices seem to be structured like MLM scheme where any financial benefit seems to drop off drastically after the top guy or two. It definitely could be a pay raise for him. Outside of the top few jobs, I think so the money has historically been on the sideline.
  5. I was thinking they would do more of a 5 years to do 4 to make up for red shirts and the like. Will this negate the red shirt or take it away completely? I can see a reason for the "legal tampering window", but I don't know how they can regulate it.
  6. With the way the team is built, he’d better be comfortable running different stuff than last year. I think for all the issues last year, Xs and Os versatility won’t be a problem this season. Everyone says CDD is a great Xs and Os guy. We might just be a defensive juggernaut with a a slightly above average-ish offense—although one that can get crunch time buckets thanks to guys like Burton. I’d love another 3 and D type guy, but you have to think the staff has scouted Lyndsey and Harris to be our primary spot up shooters with Burton and Sherrell adding enough from the arc to satisfy what CDD wants to do. The 3 freshman sit out there as potential X factors too.
  7. I didn't actually see it listed anywhere it was an ACL, although it probably was, I thought I had heard it was Patella issue.
  8. Today
  9. Daley is an incredible bargain if it's an ACL; a major injury that can be completely good after a year. Waiting one year for a guy that might have been a borderline 1st/second round pick is great value. Sorry Mikhail, but if I'm a GM and I have a choice in the 7th round of Kamara or Daley? I'm going Daley every day-ley.
  10. I think the volume 3 big wing is the difference between 6th in the Big Ten and in the hunt down the stretch. Mostly because of my hesitancy to totally trust Coach's ability to come out of his offensive comfort zone. If we play 4 out for 20 minutes running a lot of last years stuff I don't know he THE GUY will be.
  11. It needs to create chaos and confusion or the NCAA won't do it
  12. Brugler has him as a 3-tech, which I can see. ACL/no pre-draft process hurts.
  13. 36th rated DE for the leading TFL in the country is wild
  14. Have waited until today to comb through Dane Brugler's The Beast. Kind of a yearly tradition for me. I'll provide his positional rank/draft ranges for each of our guys. 11 draftable grades. Nutty. Fernando - 1/1OA Black - 10/5th-6th Round Hemby - 16/7th round Vanhorse - 143/UDFA Cooper - 5/1st-2nd round (mocked 16OA to the Jets in his final mock) Sarratt - 12/2nd-3rd round EJ Williams - 60/UDFA Jonathan Brady - 68/UDFA Nowakowski - 14/5th Round Staes - 124/UDFA Benson - 29/UDFA Coogan - 10/6th-7th Round Kamara - 34/7th Round Wyatt - 100/UDFA Daley - 36/UDFA Ratcliff - 62/UDFA Fisher - 13/5th Round Ponds - 6/2nd Round Boykin - 51/UDFA Moore - 19/6th-7th Round
  15. The Dude abides! He'll be playing on Sundays for sure.
  16. Daley.. another one I hope the Colts grab either RD7 or UDFA. And actually.. Daley 10000% should get drafted, injury or no injury.
  17. Just for my own amusement. RD1: Mendoza, Coop RD2: Ponds RD3: Sarratt RD4: Fisher RD5: Black, Nowakowski RD6: Coogan RD7: Hemby, Moore We'll see post draft FA signings as well. If any of the guys above don't get drafted they get picked up along with Kamara, Daley, Wyatt, Benson, and maybe Franke
  18. I'm not an NFL guy much anymore, but I would take Moore in a heartbeat. Dude is a player.
  19. Until the age of 16--- I watched the entirety of the NFL draft.. noon on Saturday through the end of the day on Sunday. Loved it, still do.
  20. Those were the days. They’d print them in the Indy Star by round and there were a billion names and I’d comb that thing looking for every player I knew. Today, the very thought of it gives me a migraine.
  21. I can understand drafted Buckner lol
  22. I just looked up the 76 draft. Buckner got drafted in the 14th round and Trent Smock got drafted in the 15th. Both IUBB players.
  23. But let's jump on the kid coming off an ACL with an unrelated degenerative knee because he had a good year of tape and nice measurements.
  24. In the modern era, 1994 (1st year for 7 round draft)... the most picks we've had--- 3 -- 2016- Spriggs, Sudfeld, Jordan Howard, 2010-- Saffold, Ray Fisher, Jamie Kirlew.
