  1. Past hour
  2. The Oracle of Raby says Rice ain't comin' back to IU.
  3. I hope they do in embarrassing ways
  4. I guess. They’ll be a 1 or 2 seed. And that will make for a fun season. Fans are spoiled. They should enjoy what they have because it can go away and never seemingly comeback.
  5. Don’t know if this kid can hang but this is an incredible late roster addition. Defintely not a practice player. Will push to maybe play. Didn’t cost a fortune. This is the type of addition Indiana should have added. Push the freshman a little. Nothing given, everything earned.
  6. Just hope they don't choke when it matters.
  7. Today
  8. And it looks to be 15 straight home win streak!! I will take that all day and night.
  9. There were plenty of players with notable improvement under Woody; JHS as the season went on; Race, Killer Mopp, Gallo, ALeal. TJD went from 'talented but really inconsistent' to almost national player of the year.
  10. Ware is the only player I can remember who's talents didn't take a giant step back after playing under Woody. TJD became a much better passer out of the posting suppose. Rice's WSU tape was impressive. We set him back years on his development. It would be weird seeing him back, but a good redemption story is alot of fun.
  11. Hoping he joins Pat and Ron on the radio as I'm unable to watch the game! And the pitching staff is still suffering, but, I'll take 9 in row!
  12. Watching Cubs-Reds on my afternoon off and who shows up for an in-game interview ... the Big 0. An absolute legend in Indiana. Dude looks fantastic at 87. Great stories. What a treat! (Made it even more special that the Cubs scored 7 runs while he was in the booth!)
  13. Participating for the 4th consecutive year. Starts May 27, in Cary, NC.
  14. South Dakota transfer guard Isaac Bruns has committed to USC.

The 6-foot-5 junior averaged 20.8 points and 5.1 rebounds, while shooting over 39% from three this season.
  15. IU women knock off Washington 9-2 and will play the winner of Michgan vs Nebraska Friday afternoon at 5:00. Couldn't watch and haven't seen a box score, but Avery Parker became the IU career RBI leader with 205. She has been an incredibly impressive player for the Hoosiers.
  16. Wasn't this the B1G plan to have a guaranteed number of teams from the SEC and B1G with a smaller number of Big 12 and ACC? I prefer the 16 model and have the top 8 host that first weekend to hopefully keep them fresh unlike what has happened the first 2 years with IU the only Bye team to win that first game they play.
  17. With one in Indy which isn't an overnight stay for a lot of those people. Traveling almost 12 to 16 days off of work along with all the traveling would be a lot. I can see quite a few doing it, but after that first year, some would probably wait and take that chance of going to one closer or the Champ game again. That would be a lot on the players also.
  18. Ultimately, we're probably 5 to 7 years away from this. There are massive contract obligations already signed and the amount of money lost and/or have to be repaid isn't going to happen.
  19. Yep, he's a demonstrated high percentage outside shooter including in P5 ball with high usage. While Wilkerson's shoes are hard to fill, this team won't be playing 5-out, though still incomplete we now have legit size and solid experience up front, guys like Lindsay will have better spacing and looks. We have the makings of a solid inside-out and balanced offense.
  20. Also, Matt Hayes apparently doesn't understand what bowl games are.
  21. All four IU post-season games were sellouts last year.
  22. Those first 2 rounds should be at the higher seeds home field. You would really be forking over the cash in game tickets, traveling, hotel, and food for 4 away games. I don't see many going to all 4 games.
  23. IUFB would have more than likely played: bye, 2 v 15/18 winner, quaterfinal, semifinal, CFP Final. I think the higher seeds in the 2nd round might also host a game or at least that is being discussed as well. Let's just adopt the FCS format and be done with it.
  24. I'm a fan of this. Last year IU played four games after the regular season to become champion; OSU, Bama, Oregon, and Miami. With this: Eliminates a relatively meaningless conference championship game - the team that finishes 1st in the conference season should be the champ IMO. A team that made the conference championship game but wasn't a top four overall seed was penalized previously -not anymore A CFP bye week for the top 8. A CFP home game for CFP teams ranked 9-16. So under this system, last year's IUFB team would play: bye, 1 vs 16/17 winner, quaterfinal, semifinal, championship game. Still four games for the eight most successful teams.
  25. I didn't even realize those tickets were on sell yet.
  26. I'm livid I didn't buy them early last year..... I could have made like $600 to $800 selling them lol
  27. He was 35.8% from three last year at P5 basketball Nova (which is completely solid). That's the number that should translate, moreso than his 40% from three the prior year in small conference ball. Also a fan of the fact that he played 28.5 mpg for a Nova tournament team; he was one of their featured players.
