  1. I would imagine de-prioritizing the sport because it doesn’t bring in much revenue, coupled with not wanting to pay her buyout.
  2. Haines: they didn’t change what THEY were doing, so we kept doing the same things to dominate them.
  3. I dunno. For me the admission of athletic domination is that they knew what was coming but IU was so good at it they just couldn’t stop it.
  4. Saw that video. It’s awesome. Props to Simpson for his comments. The video makes it clear that what Cig is doing at IU is destined to be repeated at IU.
  5. To paraphrase former Providence Coach Rick Pitino... "Raymond Patriarcha is not walking through that door."
  6. Yeah - this kinda boggles my mind. I know that they don't have a football team to drain donor attention, but Providence is a big as a minute neighborhood school of about 4,500 students with a just okay campus, a non-university arena that is not on campus, not a ton of academic juice (not that it's a bad school, but it's over 50% acceptance) and genrally not much juice. I guess everything athletically they have is getting poured into the hoops team?
  7. Beat Northwestern. #babysteps
  8. That trade is just plain weird. Very similar players from very similar teams, though Petrie had better numbers.
  9. When a rb is a fearless 220 lb cement block it's a whole lot easier to pass pro than when a rb is ... Jaylin Lucas.
  10. Kaelon is gonna be a surprisingly early draft pick, especially for a guy that was buried on college depth charts other than this past year. Perfect size, plenty shifty, runs low and hard, great team attitude, and now that he showed out with unexpected speed measurables on pro day? He's an NFL back for sure.
  11. If I want precise language for my IUBB insider info I’m sticking with my main man Jorge Lettuce.
  12. If we are a no-brainer, not play-in tournament team? Sign me up. That’s now a major improvement.
  13. Three year’s eligibility, All-Academic everywhere and always, and 40% from three (though with limited scoring) as a starting freshman? Sounds like a fantastic team addition.
  14. I wonder if the sharpshooter's name rhymes with Ophelian Momishomeabunch
