It seems Crean and co. can do that with guards/wings and get away with it. We've had some very successful late recruiting hauls in the past. However, I think MSU has several players leave early for the NBA and he commits there. Has Crean pulled any recruits from his home state while at IU?

The Brown news is a little surprising. I would have gotten that wrong.

I don't really think we will need a PF in this class if we land a big wing or two.  If OG stays his junior year he'll play PF or if not JMo will start.  I do worry about getting a serviceable big.  If we don't land one in the '17 class we'll need to go through grad transfers to find one.  We can't go from Davis to JMo at the 5.  I don't think we need an SG either because we have enough and some of the PGs we are recruiting can slide over to the 2.  I'm really interested to see how the guard situation "works itself out" through this year and next offseason.  I know some are certain JBJ will be gone but I think another one of the young guards will possibly look to transfer.  This is an important class.  If we land a top 10ish class we could absolutely contend for 3 straight B1G titles and look to have a deep run or two.

I was just taking a gander at our crystal ball chances and... glad Livers chose UM after having 100% MSU.  It gives me hope!

Would love to get to this level of recruiting...  Also, hopefully we snag Waters and Gak from Duke as they land their higher recruits.

Projected to lose a ton. Selling PT is a good pitch, but your point remains.

I really hope DD can hold down the middle as a sophomore and didn't expect to play as a PF. It's nice to see two "bigs" on the roster this season with JMo and OG big and tall enough to defend most PF in cbb. In the future, it would be nice to see a third big as a development big.

Tucker, Wilkes, Waters would be a Home Run! Need a big to complete the class. Huffman is reasonable I suppose. I don't think we can get Wilkes and Tucker though. Might have better luck with Wilkes and Smith.
