Will Troy Williams ever be consistent?

Recommended Posts

That would be 100% true IF Troy was coachable - and if he had a coach. Not sure either is really the case. Sheehey's antics were all about swagger and firing up the team/crowd. I personally see Troy as selfish and looking to get his.

How are you able to determine the function of their behaviors or coachability from the standard fan exposure?

Yes. I'm not going to say it's 100% factual, but a few people have leaked some reasons as to why he transferred. Troy stole a ball that Luke had the entire team sign for his grandpa. Also, Troy locked Luke out of their room for some Antonio Allen specials (for those that don't keep up with our football team, that means drugs).

This came from people close to the team. Coach never did anything to discipline Troy

I had not heard of that. If true, this is a damn shame. Thanks for sharing.

Would you not agree that after 2+ seasons, not much improvement has been made? One or the other ("coachability" or "coaching") is lacking.

No? He has absolutely made improvement. Just not enough improvement. But I mean, he has statistically and visually improved since high school.

It's either coaching or coachability for sure. Which seems more likely? What development by this staff indicates it's all on Troy? I can think of one guy who made leaps beyond just improving with experience.
