Read up on some of the stories on why Whitmore was falling - talk about practice efforts (“we talkin bout practice?”) but also medicals, assuming the medicals clear, Rockets got a steal

Probably true, and the shin breaks probably did him no good. But he’s also just a bad, slow mental processor. He doesn’t see the game other than his own offense and he missed defensive rotations at a fairly stunning rate. Great tool kit, but not  a fan in any way.

Duke had the #1 and #2 high school recruits last year. End up as the #12 and #22 picks. Sorry, that's just not impressive to me. Especially considering one averaged 5 points a game. Harry Giles all over again.

What is impressive is a kid who was not on any draft boards going into the season becoming a top 20 pick. Love the landing spot for Jalen. 

Side note: Had no idea Podziemski played at Illinois last year..too funny.

Lively is a lot different than Giles. Great rim protector with great length.

I strongly dislike ESPN..shows a clip before the break of 3 players to watch..Oscar, Timmie, and Jalen Wilson. Such a bias. Only one of those is likely to get drafted. You would think they should have included a top 2 player in all of college basketball last year.
