Kepner Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 For 1 year with the great Calipari? This rule has to be changed if we ever want to see collegiate basketball as it should be. Let them go or make them play 3 years. I agree there should be a 2 or 3 year minimum. More and more conferences are starting to "guarantee" scholarships for players but there is no commitment really the other way Class of '66 Old Fart 1 Quote

IUaic Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 Just curious as to how is it NOT an NCAA violation for players to negotiate with this team during recruiting? It seems shady, but if it hurts UK, I am all for it!!!!! JaybobHoosier and Kepner 2 Quote

LIHoosier Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 It's not good for this potential team when a search of the owner's name yields this page in the first page of results*. Where's the money coming from if they don't draw anybody to see Panathinaikos, Barcelona BB, etc? *It is good for Btown Banners to get in the first page of search results. Pats self on the back. "Cerruti Brown" is actually Glendon Alexander, a former player turned ex-con mainly in fraud. This league is never happening. http://espn.go.com/espn/otl/story/_/id/13944043/amerileague-founder-tells-operations-manager-persona-fake-lines djsalway 1 Quote
Kepner Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 Oh I got a good laugh out of this. This whole deal sounded way too fishy from the start. BtownBanner6 1 Quote
