I think the problem is people get confused by what fan bases are happy about v. what they're satisfied with.

I'm happy that IU is ranked 23rd, I'll be happy with a decent tourney run, I'll be happy with a top 3 finish in the Big Ten, I'd be freakin' overjoyed with a Sweet Sixteen or Elite Eight. But, I'm not satisfied without another banner.

 

It's like, I'd be happy to see Katy Perry topless, but I wouldn't be satisfied by just that.

You're absolutely right, I used the wrong word. Our program isn't a joke. I don't know what I wanna call it right now. Just not happy with the direction it looks like we are heading. We as a fan base have accepted mediocrity and that drives me nuts!

What direction does it look like?

We lost, what, 8 players from our #1 ranked team and had a not so great year last year. It sucked for everyone.

Instead of being worse than last year or the same, we're better and more enjoyable to watch and ranked.

Our trend is, with a quality big next year, to be to be top 5-10ish and without adding a big and with our core coming back top 15ish
