= why is he only playing a few minutes a game? He and Johnson are the future of this recruiting class. He needs more time on the court. Deserves more time

It's really an indictment of the AAU system. Holt had a crappy score because he went to public high school and played there. It's seen as playing with weaker competition so you don't get ranked as highly because you're expected to be good.

What shoes does he wear ?

my thoughts: maybe he was behind the curve learning the offense. He arrived at Btown late august and not able to practice with the squad prior to Canada. Then, he gets in that craziness of Halloween. I think it's as simple as learning the plays. Just my thoughts, no insider info

Its my belief that Crean doesn't want Emmit to get abused yet....its a matter of coaching...and bringing on Emmit so as not to put him in a position that shakes his self-confidence....Its rather obvious....gezzz.......class 101..........Thats why he's not starting.....

Yeah Crean has made the same comment. If he throws Emmitt in there too much it would be throwing him to the wolves. I would like to see him get more minutes too in all reality.  It will happen

Frosh bigs notoriously are not ready for D1 BBall as quickly as frosh guards.

 

I think Crean is using the slow--grow method too.
