Most Surprising During Butler Game?

Have to say rebounding in general.  The effort/boxing out was something we've rarely seen.  Obvious, but accurate

Feels like we're seeing these Hoosiers learning and getting better every day, right in front of my eyes.  Turnover problems galore last year - fixed, 3-point shooting - fixed, rebounding - fixed (hopefully), Hanner - "fixed" (ouch). 

but seriously, at the rate our guys are getting better, I can almost just feel a different type of effort or energy at certain skills that we struggled with previously.  very exciting.

I loved how we played through the adversity.  I think the atmosphere and media had all the elements of Butler winning this one.  The first half officiating was proof that they weren't giving IU any breaks.  I think they showed maturity in the fact that they didn't get rattled by it and showed through hustle and rebounding that they weren't going to let the refs rule this one.  Case in point Dunham wasn't even on the radar in the 2nd half.  Acting will only get you so far!

 

Now...give us even more surprises versus the Hoyas!!!!!

I really like Max. I think he has a big upside.

A year in the weight room and 20lbs will make him a very solid player. Seems to have desire and we all know he can shoot.
