good topic...
just saw the movie Fury this weekend, and if you are a history buff, specifically WW2, like myself...then you will love this movie...

I'm a huge historian buff, future Ranger, and ROTC enlistee..... I study basically WWII solely, I don't think Fury did WWII justice. Things were exaggerated & the whole movie had a dark presence over it. Not a huge fan.

I've heard that it's fantastic. Going to see it tomorrow.

it is by far the best movie I've ever watched. My former favorite was Band of Brothers/Saving Private Ryan... Went on opening night, left school at 1:30 to get tix for the 5pm show.. Sold out.. So I tried 7pm, sold out.. 7:45... Sold out... 9:55 got the last three tickets!!! They ended up making an un slotted theatre another playing of it at 10:05 pm. The whole lobby was full of people. Every showing was sold out. Like you've all said, I've never been to a sold out show, let alone 5 in one night!! Everybody stayed through the credits without moving or speaking, and nobody talked as they left the theatre.

I'm fortunate enough to have worked with C. Kyle a couple of times down range. The man was one of the most humble individuals that i have had the honor. A true hero........God bless his family. F the assassin and the people who were behind the scenes of his death. in case you haven't heard about how he was murdered. do some research

watched interstellar last night, a total utter mindfuck.  puts you through such a roller coaster of emotions and critical thought.  it's a must-see...then you'll want to watch it again and again and again to try to better understand and follow the plot.  even if you're not a fan of sci-fi's or near 3-hour movies, give it a shot.

other great movies i saw recently include chef, guardians of the galaxy and nightcrawler.  dumb and dumber to didnt exceed my low expectations.  anchorman 2, on the other hand, wasnt bad.  the final hobbit movie was disappointingly just decent; could've been so much better.

thanks 41 for linking to movietv, which becomes my backup free movie/tv site.  i've used primewire, formerly 1channel, for years.  dont even remember the last movie i paid to see.  now, back to my parks & recreation bingewatchathon.

Flying back from England last week, I watched a movie called, "This is where I leave you". Not something currently out at theaters of course, but the first time I'd seen it. I thought it was pretty funny, especially Tina Fey's character. The whole cast really created put a great deal of fun in to the word dysfunction.

I got Guardians of the Galaxy from RedBox this weekend.  It was a pretty good movie.

A Walk Among the Tombstones was pretty disappointing to me, I like Liam Neeson but that movie wasn't as good as I thought it would be.

The movie doesn't do the book justice. Movie is solid. Book is great.
