Prediction League time!!!!!

Hey Folks...it's Prediction League time again!

 

How does this work?

Each week (generally Sunday nights) I will create Prediction League threads for the weeks game (Mon-Sun week).  Depending on my schedule I have a results thread up by Monday night after week is completed.

 

It's a simple concept:

Each week you start with 100 points (only if a prediction is made, otherwise 0 points for the week)
+25 PTs if you guess the winner
-25 PTs if you pick the loser
+10 PTs if guess IU score correctly
+10 PTs if guess Opponent score correct
-The # of points different between the actual and predicted score of IU (over/under doesn't matter)
-The # of points different between the actual and predicted score of opponent (over/under doesn't matter)

 

The person with the most points (MINUS 2 LOWEST GAMES) at the end of the season wins.

 

For Example:
Jaybob chooses Mississippi Valley St (it's Jaybob...you just never know!) to win 55-60. But IU wins 75-60 Here is how Jaybob's score would be calculated:
100 (beginning pts)
-25 (picked the loser)
+10 (picked MSVs score correctly)
-20 (IU scored 75, he picked 55)

-0 (CSU scored 60, he picked 60)

65 Jaybob's score for the week

 

With that being said, check out the Prediction League Week 1 thread and post your score to get a spot in the game. Any score up to posted game time will be accepted.

well...you get a score of +145 per rules...

Natty is that correct? I know someone who guessed the exact score to last weeks football game. Just making sure we are on the same page. Haha, beer me! This is nothing but the best message board around.
