rebelhoosier848891 Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Unfortunately---I think we only play Wiscy once---on the road. The Kohl center is NOT a friendly place to IU over the years. Quote
rebelhoosier848891 Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Eastern Washington won again ----over Idaho this time. They are now 12-4 and 3-0 in their conference. They are currently ranked as the 7th best 3 point shooting team in D1 basketball. Quote
rebelhoosier848891 Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Yes--we should have beaten EWU at home---but they are a good team which makes the loss just a little better. If they end up making the NCAA tourney----I may have to pick them as one of my upset picks because they are the real deal. Quote
bleedhoosier Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 I love college bball for days like this weekend. If only we were playing Wisky tomorrow instead of PSU.. just kidding, we handled Wisky at full strength last year with a less talented roster top to bottom. Of course, vonleh on Kaminsky didn't hurt ALASKA HOOSIER and ou812dude 2 Quote
biteoftheapple Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 According to this article, Wiscy expects Kaminsky back soon, but is worried about Jacksons injury. http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/ncaab-the-dagger/which-top-10-upset-victim-should-be-most-concerned-071048465.html Quote

WayneFleekHoosier Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Jeff Goodman @GoodmanESPN 51s Wisconsin starting point guard Traevon Jackson has a fractured right foot & will have surgery Thursday, source told ESPN. Likely out 6 weeksouch. That'll hurt. He his a guy they lean on when they need last second shot or big play. Really their "leader" even though not as impactful as Kaminsky. rebelhoosier848891 Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 That is a tough break (no pun intended)---for Wiscy. I hate it when teams have injuries---because we are all too familiar with that at IU too. This is a huge loss for them----as I think they are thin on speed and ball handlers in the backcourt. rebelhoosier848891 Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 Lots of quality games tomorrow, Normally---I would pick O$U over Michigan----but I wonder how much celebrating will occur because of the FBall National Championship. ou812dude 1 Quote
rebelhoosier848891 Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 Off topic---but congrats to the Football Buckeyes tonight. Finally---the Big Ten gets a little football respect. This is a one time tip of the hat----I go back to hating all things Bucky tomorrow! IUsafety and ou812dude 2 Quote
rebelhoosier848891 Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 And----just like in basketball---imo---the west coast schools are overrated by the media. I hope we follow this up with a BBall National Champion from the Midwest---not named UK. Maybe that young IU squad catches fire and-----well you know the rest! #6! rebelhoosier848891 Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 No hangover by the BBall Buckeyes----they wax Michigan today 71-52. ou812dude 1 Quote

rebelhoosier848891 Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Virginia wins 65-42 over Clemson. Still unbeaten and ranked 2nd in country---good defensive club. WayneFleekHoosier and ou812dude 2 Quote
rebelhoosier848891 Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 #6 Louisville over Va. Tech today 78-63. #9 Kansas over #25 Ok. St.-----67-57 ou812dude and WayneFleekHoosier 2 Quote
rebelhoosier848891 Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 A win that helps us----Butler over Seton Hall 79--75. Seton Hall was still ranked #21 so our win over Butler is looking better all the time! WayneFleekHoosier and ou812dude 2 Quote
rebelhoosier848891 Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 We can't play like we did today in our win over PSU----- at Illinois---or we will get an L. Hopefully---the shock and change in game plan over Perea's injury which happened just last evening will give way to a solid game plan against the Illini on the road. ou812dude 1 Quote
