No buts it’s Foxs attempt to make money so their TV deal conferences have to participate I believe.  Nit is still ran by the ncaa

Do you think it will be more likely teams don't turn down invites to this like NiT, or about the same?  Will this be bigger deal than the NIT?

All SEC games are must watch, but Cal going back to BBN as the opposing coach should be interesting, to say the least.

They had Pitino cut a promo urging the fans to give him the welcome he deserves for all the winning and a championship. The funniest part is at the start of the message he points out him and Cal aren’t friends.

I can’t believe it but I’m gonna give BBN the benefit of the doubt and say he gets a warm ovation when introduced then gets razzed unmercifully during the game.

I have no clue.  Im interested in seeing if the conference forces teams to play in it.   I will be watching.   More college basketball is never a bad thing

Washington up 3 on MInnesota with 35.8 seconds left.  Washington ball, full shot clock.  Think Minnesota will have to foul.

6 sec difference

Yep, just think MInnesota needs to extend the game.  If not, Washington runs the shot clock down as far as possible and if Minnesota gets a rebound, Washington just fouls

Washington with a horrible turnover, LOL.

However, the review might overturn it -- looks like the Washington player got it out of his hands before his foot hit out of bounds.  I believe if that is the case it goes to jump ball?  If so, that means it would still be Washington ball.

IDK Minny had clear possession when they blew it dead.

Minnesota bucket followed by Washington hitting two free throws after a foul.  Minnesota ball, down 3, 9.7 seconds left.  Gonna need a three to tie but Washington can foul.

Personally, at 9.7 seconds, I foul in the back court if I'm Washington and worry about the possibility of giving of the three later.

ANd they do.

Its being used as extra timouts during overly lengthy reviews. Make the players stay on the court, not huddled up at the bench drawing up plays. And for god’s sake put a time limit on the review

Baseball is figuring out how to speed games up and basketball is figuring out how to make them take longer!  Who woulda thunk?
