TheWatShot Posted January 22 Posted January 22 Two and a half hours for a non-OT game. Big Ten refs are so used to Purdue winning at home they must have needed more time to write the obituary. WayneFleekHoosier 1 Quote

Uspshoosier Posted January 22 Posted January 22 Road wins are massive especially against tournament quality teams. That’s a huge win for the Buckeyes that probably moves them into the projected field. Neutral court win against Kentucky and a road win against Purdue. Just makes IU win on the road even better str8baller and Stuhoo 2 Quote

Early on, it feels like 1985 and there will be 3 teams from the same conference (SEC) and maybe Dookie/Iowa St/some rando is the other team. Uspshoosier 1 Quote

One of the B1G’s best shots at the Sweet 16 is still IU, because if about a billion improbable ‘if’s’ go right at least we have the personnel talent to compete with talented teams. And because almost every other B1G team has zero chance Quote

HinnyHoosier Posted January 22 Posted January 22 I would love to see Wisconsin get a win in Westwood just to see what else Cronin can whine about. He might actually explode soon. mamasa 1 Quote

johnsoniu Posted January 22 Posted January 22 Iowa comeback falls short. wake Forest up on UNC 67-60 with 20 seconds left. Hubert Davis crappy year continues UCLA/Wisconsin good game. Bruins up 7 with 6 to go WayneFleekHoosier, mamasa and Uspshoosier 3 Quote
Jeff Flabjohns Posted January 22 Posted January 22 The environment at Pauley Pavilion tonight is pretty….uninspiring. Lotta empty seats WayneFleekHoosier and Uspshoosier 2 Quote

I don’t see anyone going much further due to the talent issue you highlight. B1G will look meager coming out of Week 1 and probably nonexistent going into the second weekend. Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted January 22 Posted January 22 Things not going well for Calipari and Arkansas. Still leads the team in minutes with 34. Plays team leading 38 minutes the next game against LSU and scores 19 points with 5 assists. Plays team leading 33 extremely frustrating minutes in a blowout loss against Missouri. Arkansas is now 0-5 in conference because they are the usual poorly coached Calipari band of mercenaries. NOW decides that his hand is too injured and will sit the rest of the season ... (to prepare for the draft). It happens with a Calipari player way too often - their real coach is their agent; Calipari makes a deal with the devil WayneFleekHoosier and cybergates 1 1 Quote
