Yea about Indiana basketball. But it’s not negative. Just a fact that CBB is down.

Fact it’s down for you Go ahead and post you negative stuff about college basketball in that negativity thread as well. You don’t see me going in a nba or nfl thread and trashing it and calling the product down. This thread was made for the people who love to follow college basketball. If you want to trash it, trash it in another thread

I’m completely convinced that the 12-13 Indiana, Michigan State, Michigan teams would make this years B1G look like the MAC. 12-13 Ohio State, Wisconsin would win the league.

For as “bad” a year that was for college basketball it sure has went downhill since. Conference realignment has really hurt the game along with The 1-and-done and transfers.

Id watch that season over the NBA. It was fun. There are plenty of select games. The FGCU-GTown game is one of my favorites. I consider them even though for me. It’s basketball. Both have their positives and negatives.

I'm talking about this season or any season since Johnson, Bird and Jordan retired

For the most part NBA is unwatchable until the playoffs when there is somewhat “meaningful” basketball being played. I’ll never understand how anybody could prefer NBA over college basketball. Never.

I quit watching after Jordan retired. The late 80's-late 90's was such a fun, fun time for it.

Because it’s a court of some of the best basketball players on the planet? You get offense, defense and showtime. You always have star power. I’m sure you’d like watching the Pacers.

I’m a Pacers fan but it is never appointment television for me, especially during the regular season. I will watch every Pacers playoff game but once they’re eliminated, I’m done with the NBA. Much like USPS, I can sit down and watch mostly ANY college basketball game and thoroughly enjoy it.

The quality of basketball in college has been pretty low lately, while the NBA is as good as it has ever been. Games like IU's game last night make college basketball hard for me to watch. The poor officiating doesn't help either.  I don't watch many non-IU games until March madness starts.

Better than it's ever been? Bold statement unless you have watched for the last 50 yrs

I've watched games from 30-40 years ago. People who say the NBA was better back then are romanticizing it. There's much more talent in the NBA today than ever before. We have stars from around the world. It's a good time to be an NBA fan.

The 80’s was all offense and showtime. 90’s was defense and garbage ball. Today’s game is the closest to the middle.

Games but not whole seasons. Watching the Lakers, Celtics, Pistons, 76ers, Jazz were a delight

Edit- my last post on the NBA in this thread. So it will be back on topic

Couple games with bubble teams

La Tech/Charlotte one for IU fans to track

ETSU loss at home last night will probably kill their chances at an at-large bid. Northern Iowa still has an outside chance but cannot lose to a bad MVC team.

NBA talk in the college basketball thread is making me 🤢. Lol
