Unfortunately---I think we only play Wiscy once---on the road.

 

The Kohl center is NOT a friendly place to IU over the years.

Eastern Washington won again ----over Idaho this time.

 

They are now 12-4 and 3-0 in their conference.

 

They are currently ranked as the 7th best 3 point shooting team in D1 basketball.

Yes--we should have beaten EWU at home---but they are a good team which makes the loss just a little better.

 

If they end up making the NCAA tourney----I may have to pick them as one of my upset picks because they are the real deal.

I love college bball for days like this weekend. If only we were playing Wisky tomorrow instead of PSU.. just kidding, we handled Wisky at full strength last year with a less talented roster top to bottom. Of course, vonleh on Kaminsky didn't hurt

According to this article, Wiscy expects Kaminsky back soon, but is worried about Jacksons injury.

ouch. That'll hurt. He his a guy they lean on when they need last second shot or big play. Really their "leader" even though not as impactful as Kaminsky.

That is a tough break (no pun intended)---for Wiscy.

 

I hate it when teams have injuries---because we are all too familiar with that at IU too.

 

This is a huge loss for them----as I think they are thin on speed and ball handlers in the backcourt.

A win that helps us----Butler over Seton Hall 79--75.

 

Seton Hall was still ranked #21 so our win over Butler is looking better all the time!

We can't play like we did today in our win over PSU----- at Illinois---or we will get an L.

 

Hopefully---the shock and change in game plan over Perea's injury which happened just last evening will give way to a solid game plan against the Illini on the road.
