Myles Rice is better in almost every meaningful statistic than last year playing almost 5 minutes less per game.

Myles Rice fit better in Kyle Smiths offense last year then he does in this system.   He is handcuffed in the system he is currently playing in.    Sometimes there is more than just numbers.  Anyone who watched the kid play last year compared to this year can see the difference.   He still averaged more points, steals, rebounds and assists last year than he currently is at IU.  His shooting numbers are up compared to last so I’m guessing that’s what you’re pointing to but the kid was by far in a better position last year than he is currently.   I loved watching him play all of last year.  It saddens me to have to watch him play in a system that doesn’t fit him

The stats you say he’s down in are really close to last year and he’s played almost 5 less minutes a game. His shooting percentages aren’t even close, they are exceedingly better.

Something must be working to have his 2 pt. fg% up 7 and 3 pt. up 14%.

He went 4-25 for 11 points against Louisville, Gonzaga, and Providence. No one cares if a kid can put up stats against Sam Houston. Except you, apparently.

Don’t know.

Have not played a conference game yet and haven’t watched enough of other teams

He was last year and was a joy to watch.  Hopefully he can be that again this year however from what I’ve seen he just doesn’t look comfortable enough in this system he has to play in for him to make as big as impact this year as he did for his team last year.   There was a reason he was one of the most sought after guards.   Hate watching a talented kid handcuffed because of a system.

My bad. I thought the conversation was about coming to IU to die. Like for an entire season. Not just a few games.

Wait until the season is over and then we can talk. Because in the last 4 years the only transfer guards have who might fit the description is Stewart.

No basis to the claim otherwise.

I hope so too.

Your entire argument was based on a few games... lol.
