Did the American Athletic Conference (that is a conference right?) specifically look to hire former cheaters to run their basketball programs?  Larry Brown, samscum, and Frank Haith...?  Along with UConn and Memphis who have received sanctions in the recent past.

I think UCF had sanctions a few years ago too. This freaking conference makes Cincinnati seem like a bunch of choir boys.

in their defense 9 of the 14 losses are against rpi top 50 teams and 12 of those 14 are to teams in the rpi top 100. They have a sos of 13. They have 5 wins against rpi 51-102 teams (this is why they have a rpi of 90) While I say good teams find a way to win close games, bad teams find a way to lose them ( they should of beaten Virginia). Losing 11 of 12 can't be fun I would assume at some point they will fall into the +100 rpi category which will be will bad for iu
