This is 1000% on the Pacers. The refs had nothing to do with them pissing the bed.

Not really. Boston shot 21 more free throws before we had to start fouling. They have also managed to shoot 11 more 3s so not listening to the bs they are attacking. They weren’t. Not to mention the inbounds turnover was all created by Brown getting away with one of his roughly 30 fouls

BS explanation by the announcers.  Foul was clearly on the ground.

I have to mute the TV whenever these people start trying to explain how a guy is in the act of shooting.

The Pacers are not a very physical team. Other than Siakam they avoid contact.

Pretty sure that the only people noticing the refs in this game will be some Pacers hardcore fans; not Pacers players or staff, or anyone else nationally.

Had 13 games to figure out how to play refball this postseason. Maybe don’t hand Boston the ball an extra 21 times for 32 points.

The fact that you have to play refball says everything you need to know about the NBA.  Pacers outshot and outrebounded the Celtics.  Teams aren't going to play perfect games but when you clearly outplay the other team sans refs, you SHOULD win.

I think it can be both. No way the Celtics have this big of a free throw advantage in Indy. At the same time, it probably doesn't get to OT if the Pacers don't inbound the ball like a high school team.

Pacers have shot 76 fewer free throws than their opponents in the last eight games.  Sorry if I don't get the rationalization that it was the Pacers 'pissing down their leg'.  The first 46 minutes of a game matter and set up the last 2.  There is no close game to blow if the game wasn't close.

Consider the fact that the Pacers had the ball with 10 seconds left and a three point lead and got fouled and STILL weren't shooting free throws yet.  Come on.

Yep, bad inbound plays.  But saying it was the Pacers blowing the game is what the NBA thrives on -- escaping blame for playing favorites to teams they want to win.

When it’s been that many games in a row it’s probably not the referees; it’s the Pacers’ style of play.

And 40 years ago everyone believed Wrestling was real.  NBA fans are just slower to catch up!
