 Aaron Holiday is a popular target for teams placing calls to the Indiana Pacers -- and he was told recently that he could be moved by Thursday's 3 p.m. ET trade deadline, a league source told IndyStar -- but he's off the table, according to another league source.

Mirotic just got traded to the Bucks. They are so good.

 

What the **** is Toronto doing? They have to make a move, Philly and the Bucks are just getting better. Their already short window is getting slammed shut on them if they don't do something

I liked Baldwin a lot in the draft. He seems like he should be a fine bench guy, Stauskas....... well we could always use another shooter

Philly is really going for it right now. Simmons/JJ/Butler/Harris/Embiid is a fantastic starting 5. I really don't think Toronto can hang with them or Milwaukee. TOR doesn't have a ton of assets either, Siakim has become a really good player but OG/Wright/Powell are all just decent rotation players and Powell is on a bad contract. Seems like no one wants Valunciunas either.

Maybe a hot take. But I think they have to trade Siakim with other guys to get anther impact guy. They won't do it, crazy to see how fast windows get shut in the NBA.

 

And yeah they can't hang with Philly or the Bucks

And there it is. Nice to see the top of the East actively trying to get better. Its gonna be fun to see the fight for the 1 seed. I'd hate to have the 2/3, you're gonna have back to back brutal series in the playoffs

Eh, I don't hate it. I like what they've done recently on the court. Vic injury killed our season. Seems like someone got in Nate's ear about using Turner more offensively. Seems like they want to see what they really have with the young guys

I still don’t think that old @$$ Marc is enough to get them past Philly or Milwaukee. We’ll see.

Neither do I. But they had to do something to upgrade their roster, and they did. 

 

Side note, this trade deadline has been fun so far

That OKC pick is top 20 protected next year. If it doesn’t convey in turns into 2 2nd rounders in ‘22 and ‘23. OKC Should be a top 10 team next year but there isn’t a ton of room for error.
